The 2 Step drive sequence is described in great detail here:

Simply, the 2 Step sequence creates a very efficient and powerful drive.

Back chaining: Sometimes as we learn a progression, a piece learned earlier breaks down and we need to back up to that point and make sure it's solid before working back up. In your case, working on "up together/down together" would be good. Have her throw without a drive--just an easy forward step with an emphasis on pulling in the arms and knees together at release and the drag foot rolling up onto the toe and laces facing forwardish.

At 12 o'clock, Amanda is transitioning from driving open/extension to pulling in to release. The feel (for me) is the legs pulling together. Although the plant foot is stationary, I feel both legs squeezing together.

Both views would be great.
