I've been looking for new cleats for DD and I saw Ringor has pitching cleats. What is the difference between those and regular cleats?

Thanks! Her primary issue is she has wide feet and Ringor seems to be one of the only ones that make them in wide sizes.

DD changed from Ringors to 3n2 Rally Metal PT (pitching toe). Likes the fit and the feel of them better especially the weight (Ringors are heavy). BTW they last a long time but they're not quite on par with the the Ringors all leather upper.

You can order the Ringors with or without the pitching toe. They's got a couple different options as well. Good company to work with also regarding wear issues. My pitcher DD wore a hole thru the toe just off to the side of the extra toe protection. We thought she may have been cleated there since it was such an odd spot but she just showed me yesterday that she's getting wear in the same spot again. Regardless, it was clearly not a warranty or defect issue but they sent a replacement pair with no hesitation. FYI, my catcher DD uses the Ringor with the pitching toe also (she throws from the knees alot) and has had no issues, loves the shoe and has wide feet. I was initially concerned a bit about the weight but honestly it has not been an issue.

DD pitches a bunch but also plays the field, IF and OF.

She currently has rigor soft cleats, she is allowed to wear metal but wants nothing to do with them.

The pitching cleats are fine for other positions?

Yes, both DD's use them and between the two of them have played every single position (maybe not second base?) on the field while wearing them. Now of course, if they weren't primarily pitcher/catcher they wouldn't have the toe protection but it did not hinder their play anywhere else either.

DD2 didn't like Ringor cleats and we've always had her try different brands and styles. She prefers the 'boys' cleats because they offer more styles to choose from. This season she chose New Balance because of comfort. She's worn Mizuno, UA (boys), Nike(boys), and Ringor. I've always talked to both DDs about comfort first, then style. DD1(catcher) loves New Balance. DD2 is a busy pitcher so I always add Tufftoe on her cleats and turf shoes. Stuff works amazing! Here's a pic of the new cleats.
