Looking for recommendations for shoes for my daughter to practice inside and on a driveway mat. Or do I just plan to keep buying crappy shoes that wear out at the toe every month or so?

I like Ringor turfs with the pitching toe. You can also buy a Tuff Toe and glue it onto an existing athletic shoe. I've heard that covering the area with Shoe Goo works, but don't know how long it will last.

Huge fan of the Ringor turf shoes with the pitching toe. DD has a pair and they hold up very well. A little heavier than other turf shoes.

For practice on turf or mat over asphalt or concrete we use sneakers with shoe goo. Depending on the makeup of the mat, we used to have to reapply shoe goo after every session. But new facility she has been training in does not wear as much and we have not had to reapply. For indoor fielding work you might want real turf trainers, but for pitching the regular sneakers with shoe goo are perfect.

We use Prince Tennis shoes. Since they are designed for tennis (reinforced toe), they hold up really well.

Ringor turf shoes with the pitching toe is your best bet for a long term solution. I think my DD got almost 4 years out of hers.
