I feel like I should recite the lyrics to Eminem's "Without me" (making a few modifications to the words).

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. I'm still on the mend so to speak. Right now they are focusing on my heart, actually they are looking for a heart to see if I actually have one. LOL. It's been limiting without insurance to get the testing and treatments but, I've had a while to rest and going to try to work as hard as I can over the winter. So if you, your organization, school, or whatever/whomever is interested in booking me send me an email. I just set my first weekend for Dallas Aug 25-27. (Anyone who's interested, a nearby Hampton Inn offers a $62 rate with free breakfast and Dallas has 2 airports for relatively cheap travel).

Anyway, I wanted to let you all know I'm alive and going back at it this off season. This is a difficult time to start scheduling softball lessons because a lot of people need a "break" or start other sports but, I'm still going for it.

I appreciate the prayers and good thoughts and those who contributed to my Go Fund me. I'm still keeping it open because I have bills up the wazzu. But, maybe going back to work will be helpful.

I also am going to try making more of a commitment to answer more questions here. As a policy, I don't reply to the videos that are sent but, questions and comments are what I will try to do.

Let me know if you want to schedule this winter, a clinic or regular visits.

Take care all.
Bill

If you are a newbie on here, and to fastpitch, and don't happen to know who Bill is - it's time you did. If it was possible for us to get to Dallas we would definitely check this out!!

I'll jump right in.

Bill - I have a 6 y/o who expressed interest in pitching. She's played Little League for the past three years (tee-ball starting at 4) and is good (not just for a girl). Good enough that she was practicing with the 7-8 y/os at end of last spring because she was bored in coach pitch. I have soley a baseball background. Teaching fastpitch softball would be like teaching Russian for me; I have no idea what I'm doing.

What are some good starting points?
