The video I recall was from a recent prominate TB showcase and was of an 18 year old recent high school graduate who will be at LSU next month. I agree with rules protecting underage children from exposure, but you need to be truthful in your reporting of the situation.

The discussion was whether amateur student atheletes were public figures and subjugated to the same criticisms as professional atheletes.
I was pointing out that being 18 had nothing to do with it (and it doesn't by any definition on whom is a public figure).

There are hundreds of college football recruiting sites and message boards that would love to hear your opinions on amateur student athletes...good luck!
Come on man, I like your input and it can help others as well. Don't take the easy way out...If the parents aren't willing to take the criticism then they usually just disappear anyway. Lol! Thanks pattar. I have been paying attention to that thread, even though I have not commented much. I believe your DD is 7. Based on that alone, I think she is ahead of the curve. And you are getting some very good input from a number of members that I respect a great deal. You are in good hands. My primary piece of advice to anyone working with a 7 year old student is simple; Make it fun!!!

There was a guy who would go around and record another DFPer's kid. He would post the video and criticize the kid.

Dusty, you have way too much time on your hands.
Also, you might want to look up the definition of "criticism" and "complain". Then, ask youself if the statement "The kid looks great" is either a criticism or a complaint.
