So past week I have been having Warriorangela working on mechanics and lower half of body. Well since we are at the park often, I happened to see a coach practicing with his team. I went over to the coach and asked him if my dd could throw to his batters. One, Angela gets to see live batters, two batters get some live pitching and three, everyone was happy.

So has anyone ever done anything bold like this or can think of another time you did something and your kid was thinking, "OMG dad, Really??"

There is often a 14U rec or 14UB travel team practicing on the adjacent field when DD and I are working and I've considered it a few times. I haven't as I've been worried about intruding on their practice plan, sounding like we think too highly of ourselves, or her having a bad day and nailing some newbie player and hurting them. All probably not good reasons at all. Generally our time to work together is limited and there is something specific we are focusing on like drop ball spin or front side resistance so I stick to the plan. But good for you for stepping out!!

Honestly, no.

Before I did this I would need to know what was expected from DD. Is she supposed to throw strikes, is she supposed to let them hit, should she try to strike them out, etc.

Sounds like fun though.
