Well here she is - 4 years after starting out - 3 years after finding you guys - 2 years after finding Ken. I'm finally ready to trust you (well some of you) to give us your feedback. This is just her standard FB. But might show you a few more if you do good on this one ;)

She is 15, 5'7", a freshman in HS, just finishing up her season pitching for JV. Playing 16B and some 16 (easy)A this summer. Meant to post this a few months ago, but we took most of the winter off and then came back to a super rainy season with lots of cancelled games so just now getting back into real game shape I'd say and having some sun to get some video.

Thanks for your suggestions. She'd really like to work hard this year in prep for being on varsity next year.

Her mechanics look really good, she checks off all the boxes as she goes through the motion. Well done. If this was a test and I had to find something to suggest, it would be to get the right heel up a bit sooner in her back swing so the drive would start a little sooner. I try to have my pitchers get the heel to start coming up as the ball swings back past the six 0'clock position. More overlap. I really like the resistance she pitches against with her front side.

There is so much going right here I don't think it is worth messing with anything. Not even sure nitpicking is worth it...even when I think I see something as I slow it down it looks like it was just my imagination and she is hitting all her marks.

She does drag the heel of her back foot a little but my stance has always been as long as the heel just touches or bounces and then comes right back up it is fine which is what she is doing.
Love the drive she is a couple feet off the plate as her front foot comes down. Everything is in sequence. Love the bent elbow at 9 o'clock. The thing I can't shake is it "seems" like she is low and hunched forward at release but when I slow it down and look for markers everything is good it might just be the angle of the camera since it slightly out front and not at the side or simply my imagination. Only other thing I'd have to see would be rear view to see brush and alignment but if it's as good as everything else I would give her an "A"!

I would be very interested after a few days for you to come back at us and let us know what if any improvements YOU think she needs to make I think biggest think for her now would be working on movement pitches and location would like to hear her speed as well....Great job keep up the good work!!

How much work has she done on Brush Interference? From the clip, she looks good, but I know she wants to be better. Watching some very good pitchers, they use BI to assist them with the release point as they really try to increase the speed of their arm circle from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock positions.

As I post this, I'm hoping someone else has similar thoughts. Keep in mind, I'm still very much in learning mode and am trying not go give out bad advice.

She looks very good.

Can we see a video from 2B?

I don't have anything great from 2B right now. I have a RB from a little bit of a distance - where you can see her tendency to get soft on the front leg - especially on the RB and CU. I have a RB from the front that ended up with a bit high of a finish but I can post that for now (there was a bit of user error and some that I thought I had recorded I had not :p)

And regarding ArmyStrong's comments she changed from HE about two years ago and BI is definitely a work in progress.

I MIGHT be able to get some game video on Monday night.

Ok here is the only front view video I got the other day. It's a rise that went higher than planned. I almost deleted this one. She does get a bent front knee, maybe to get low (??) when she starts her rise and I'm guessing that is going to need to change to increase speed. It was very successful at JV. Ken can attest that she wavers between an angled back spin and a bullet spin that is lightly off center. Definitely gets pop ups with it.
