With a hide-the-ball pre-motion, you have to be careful to not let the arms get ahead of the legs. When the arms get ahead of the legs like you see above then you have an issue with timing.

We work on Arm Mechanics, Drive Mechanics, then work to put it all together in a full pitch.

Regarding her arm mechanics, it is hard for me to provide any meaningful feedback. The quality of the video is very poor. I can't tell, even stepping through the video one frame at at time if she is getting good IR and Arm whip.

Regarding her drive mechanics,
-does her pre-motion promote the feeling of a running start?
-does she get into a good sprinter's position?
-is she getting a good weight/momentum transfer?
-at 3:00 you look to see if she is detaching from the pitcher's plate with good drive and stride leg extension.
-does she create a firm front side as she lands?

Regarding putting it all together,
-currently, she has timing issues (mentioned above).
-does she have a good posture that promotes brush interference?
-does her drive leg come through forcefully, or is it left behind hindering a firm front side?

Excellent advise!!!!! Awesome response

WOW! I can't thank you enough for sending this. A picture is truly worth a 1000 words. Any information I can get is valuable. We have a lot to work on. Thanks again.

Nice thread. I see a lot to like from the pitcher and folks with way more knowledge than me have provided good analysis. My only suggestion is to work on explosiveness - with my DD we often go back to working on technique without a ball to build good muscle memory and to avoid worrying about where the ball goes. We also have benefitted from "leg work" to increase drive and explosiveness. She, too, is a "no-backswing" pitcher.

Good luck!

KnightSB is spot on with the timing.

Another issue is posture.

Your DD has the dreaded "butt out" disease. She is bending at the waist and sticking her butt out instead of standing up straight. (Either (1) she has been learning to throw a screwball or (2) she is trying to avoid any contact between her arms and hips.)

She should stand straight for the entire pitching motion. She should close slighty when her arm gets to 9, and then let her arm brush her hip.

I've attached a shot of your DD and Osterman. (I made Osterman a rightie for the picture.)

Look how close the ball is to Osterman's body. Also, note that the hips are slight closed.

Great Points. We wil be working on all these.

-does she create a firm front side as she lands?. Could you tell if she as a good landing? Or what does she need to do? Or do you need a better video. I did PM you. Thank you again.

The line running from the foot to the head is the same angle for your DD and Osorio. You can see how much farther your DD leaks forward after her stride foot lands compared to Osorio. Like a false load, there is a similar phenomenon the "false firm front side". At first glance she looks like she has a decent reverse posture, however leaving her drive leg behind, she has leaked resistance, IMHO.

WRT drive mechanics, if she was my DD, I'd follow Sluggers suggestion to first fix the arm timing and posture, then reexamine how the front side looks.

Thank you. Another eye opener. Again, we have a lot to work on. We are start to take baby steps as of tonight.
