Thank you, I have wanted a cheap radar gun for a few months now. Just got done ordering one of those Bushnell's, that is a pretty good sale.

That's a good deal. I'm surprised more people dont use Glove Radar... for $70 it's hard to beat and so simple to use. Easier than pocket radar if it's just you catching for your DD. It's within 1 to 2 mph of pocket radar.

Not as cool as a pocket radar but you can't beat the price ($55).

I have one--it tends to measure ~1-2 mph slower than a pocket radar but it works.

Our experience was the exact opposite. My DD's pitching coach uses the Bushnell Velocity and I have the Pocket Radar Ball Coach. After reading your post, we setup and recorded the same pitches with both radar guns. The Pocket Radar was constantly 3 MPH slower than the Bushnell. The nice part was the consistency. 7 of the 10 pitches were exactly 3 MPH differences. The other 3 were +/- 1 MPH. I'd like to think that it's just my Pocket Radar for obvious reasons, but I've compared mine to another parents Pocket Radar with the same results.

That is a smoking deal on the Bushnell and in the end its just another tool in the bag.

So here's a wacky story:

My birthday was Saturday. On Friday, my DW told me that my birthday present arrived, but it was stuck in our building manager's office (packages go there and we have to pick them up, but she was gone for the day when my wife got home from work). So that means I had to wait until Monday. No big deal. I don't even celebrate my birthday outside of being thankful for the gift my wife gives me. We never go out, etc. Waiting two days was nothing.

Yesterday when I saw this thread, I went to the Amazon page and had it up all day. Truth is, I don't need this radar gun. I wanted it. It's a toy, and I like toys. So all day I kept staring at the price, trying to decide if I should get it. By the end of the night, I decided to just hold off. Self control-wins the day!

Today my wife hands me the box from Amazon. I open it annnnnd, yep, this exact radar gun. Same one. She knew I had been looking at guns in the past, but I never specifically mentioned or asked for this one. She just happened upon it on her own.

The only conclusion I can draw from this is that my wife somehow reads all my thoughts while I sleep. She might be some kind of mind-reading demon. Should I call a priest?
