Quincy. DD is 5'10 in real life and 5'11" when listed on her high school rosters. Most of her 14u tb team is 5'9" or taller. Rarely does she or her teammates get the borderline high pitch called a strike but quite often they get a mid calf pitch called a strike. Her tb coach got ejected from a game when the umpire called a full count pitch at her ankles strike three. The umpire was particularly inconsistent that game. Both teams had good pitchers and the strikeout total was 23 between both teams. For dd and I think many taller girls the borderline low pitch can be tough for them to hit hard. DD still struggles with not dropping her hands on those pitches. At least she no longer dips her whole body trying to hit them.

5'8" 175lbs 12 years old, I have to carry a non-drivers drivers liscense as she gets questioned every where we go

My nephew was deemed too big to play football with kids his actual age. Sounds like they might need a softball rule for your DD!

5'2" (righty) and 5'1" (lefty) twins turned 13 today...haven't had a growth spur to speak of, but cruise on the low side of 50 now...hoping to get about 3-4 more inches before high school (7th grade now). They both made high school team on a pretty competitive roster, have been asked to play 14u on several B class TB teams this spring, but since they aren't physically imposing we decided to keep them at 12u.

My wife pitched at a mid-tier D1 school, she is 5'5" in shoes 5'4.5" barefoot. Topped out around 65mph, good curve and drop and change up. So we know what it takes, the biggest issue is getting a school to come look at a short pitcher. So we spend a lot of time hitting, lol! Both batted above 5 hundred in b-class in the fall (thanks to some tips from here and finding a hitting coach that has the right philosophy), and their power is now in the top tier of their peers. We plan on moving to an A class 14u team this fall, (the coach wants them). So we will see.

5'-8" 130# Senior at SC. Other pitchers on team are 6'-0" and 6'-2" so she is on the shorter end of the spectrum.

I have watched your DD on tv before, but didn't make it any games last year. Saw her for the first time live today...was sitting just to the left side of home plate. I was thoroughly impressed with her movement, but even more impressed with her velocity. Just looking at her size I would not have expected her to throw that hard. Just an incredible whip.
