I'm a mom, not a dad, but dh and I use the same one. It's an inexpensive Mizuno, made for softball. I don't remember the exact model we have but it was around $60.

What works depends a lot on how advanced the pitcher is that you're handling. A cheap Miz works fine for younger ages. Personally, I enjoy the protection of my Worth Liberty Advanced for warming up my DD's 12U TB teammates.

Yeah, mine is just 10U. And I can only catch her change up anymore. I know when DH catches for her it stings sometimes. Guess we'll have to upgrade relatively soon.

I've had a Louisville Slugger Big Daddy the past 5 years or so. It was and is fine, but now that DD is 16 I could use an upgrade.

I'm not sure if they sell them anymore though.

Worth Liberty for me as well. Best glove i have ever used. I used it at the end of my playing career and now on the bucket. Its been restrung twice, seems sewn twice and now has 2 rips in the leather, but still works great.
