Worth Liberty Advanced. Best combination of value and performance out there for the bucket parent.

Not worth getting the $300 catcher glove for the bucket.

20 plus year old Heart of the Hide Rawlings Pro-SBCM that has been in constant use.

Amazing with how much use it's had that it still holds a perfect pocket when laying on it's side. It's going to be hard to find a replacement for it.

DD turns 13 in a month; throwing low 50s; I bought (what I thought would be) a high-end Nokona softball catcher's mitt and she was just killing my hand. I bought a cheap weightlifter's glove (no fingers) and that little bit of extra padding made all the difference in the world. I'm still gonna have arthritis in a few years as a result of her pitching though...

Nokonas are notorious for their lack of padding.

Also use liberty worth advanced, never had a problem with hand protection. If you have big hands you can just not use the thumb slot and pull the laces to the side.

I think we concluded in another thread that the "Big Daddy" catchers mitt has been discontinued, so I would recommend a Vinci. It has extra padding and should hold its value well if you take care of it.
