We have had success with the toe-cap glued onto cleats, but my DD really wants the Ringor. I hear they are "heavy" and some DD's have a second pair - one for pitching and one for everything else...
Thoughts on these and is the sizing right, do they run small/large..?
They run 1/2 size small.... older models were made of stone and lead. Newer ones are fine weight wise....
Both my dd's swear by them. Great cleats... they're very durable
My DD loved the originals and loves the new light weight also. Their turfs with pitching toes are also amazing for training. Yes half size to whole size small I think depending on type. They do have a store front but you have to come to Tualatin Oregon for that.
I highly recommend Ringor cleats with the pitching toe to every girl who pitches. DD also has a pair of their turf shoes with the pitching toe for lessons. DD is not fast, so the extra weight does not bother her and heavy weight = heavy duty.
Best cleats.... AND their customer service is beyond excellent. DD is on pair #4 because she is growing like a weed.
She had one pair that she wore the toe down due to an excessively heavy drag. It was just out of warranty and they replaced them - no charge. We had the new pair in two days. We are loyal due to quality and service.
