DD's last HS tryouts are in a month. She has been a starter on Varsity since she was a freshman and her team graduated 10 seniors so it is going to be a very young team - only her and 3 other players that have ever even played varsity. Going to be an adventure. DD has a great relationship with the head coach and is about to sign so she will just need to relax and help lead this young team...

We are in Texas and most of the schools that I am aware of don't have 7th and 8th players playing HS ball. However, I could be wrong but in our area the HS teams are high school players and some of the middle schools are starting to get middle school teams now which is great.
She survived tryouts and did well, made the team which wasn't really a concern and now she has to earn her spot and circle time. We shall see and should be a fun year.
