Does anyone have any tips or advice? We are cruising around 50mph and seem to have hit a wall. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Her upper half looks pretty good, its her lack of drive that's holding her back. She has good IR whip, good stabilization, and is driving nice and straight. However, I'm seeing a very lazy pair of legs. If a car were to crash into a big solid wall, which would cause more damage to the car if the car was traveling at 10mph or 60 mph?
You two need to study the drive mechanics thread together. I'd highly recommend Java's drill called the two step. But outside of that, not too shabby!
PS... that glove slap is nuts!!! Lets try to stop that. Its not helping her half as much as its helping the batter!

Watch the video and you can see she really just steps out instead of drives off the plate. Go to the drive mechanics thread for an easy visual take a good video from the side play it really slow and pause at the same points as the stills below, this model pitcher is not perfect but looks really good if she looked like this a few extra mphs might follow...pay particular attention to the knee of your DD versus model currently her front knee is never higher than her back knee

Thank you for the responses. We have been working on no back swing to hide the ball better. I will post a better video of her drive with back swing
and see if that is a better form to have. She is 5' 10" and we are just trying to find more speed. We are definitely going to work on an explosive drive. Any other suggestions anyone can see on curve or drop? Thanks again

Speed Just seems way off. I know the drive needs to be better, but on top of that are there any other recommendations? Curve and drop are only in the 47 mph range and rise is 52 for a high.

Like James and DJ have suggested, start with improving her drive. I think you'll find a boost in speed right there. I disagree with changing her glove action unless it's causing discomfort.

First please take a video truly from the side like you are on 3B so we can get a better idea of exactly what her arm circle and release point drive distance etc look like.

This is a marathon not a sprint...she is basically just stepping off the plate getting almost nothing from her legs.

Delve into the drive mechanics thread, work really hard for a month or so two or three times a week and see what her improvement looks like.

She looks like she is doing a lot really well which I think is one reason nobody is suggesting wholesale changes in anything but you asked what would help...better drive is the biggest thing sticking out at the moment...if her drive looked like the girl in the four shot progression versus what she in doing now I would think it is easily worth a few mph.
