Great feedback. I really appreciate all the effort and time spent. I have the IR in the Classroom saved to my hard drive as well as printed out (along with Java's Drive Mechanics thread). The concept of IR and more specifically Brush Interference clicked with this one about a week ago, so now we need to keep plugging away to get it right. But, you guys have given me a lot of other stuff to focus on as well which will hopefully make it all fall in line.

Just my opinions...she is on the right path...and she will get there, based on your answer above and based on the fact that you posted here for open feedback. You have some vision of where she needs to get...how do you get there? IR/brush interference is a huge key...functionally, it will be a challenge to get it, feel it, make it consistent until you adjust the push with the drive foot. The jump open push off is driving the hip out of the way...making it harder to get to the correct brush contact point...I would work on that first. It's the right time to get at this...let her get as wild as possible all winter. Like others will tell you...put up a tarp, have her throw into that. The idea is...take the focus off of the result, don't try to throw strikes...try to get the mechanical things right.
