The last few days I've been working with a pitcher who pitches in a Men's Fastpitch league. He is from Israel, and is headed to Michigan for the WBSC Junior Men's world championship.

The kid is only 13, but has great mechanics (I/R) and throws hard 60+. We worked on locating, and movement pitches. He's close to getting the rise down. They can leap, so I was just wondering if anyone else had done lessons with players on the men's side. Hope to post some video of him tomorrow!

Thanks!

Yes, I have recently worked with the Danish Junior Men's 19U pitchers. If you exclude the leap they are allowed to do, the rest of the mechanics are pretty much the same as what the women do. The release actions of the movement pitches are pretty much identical. I have some high speed video of Adam Folkard I use as a cross check reference.
The Denmark 19U team will be playing tomorrow in Michigan......their pitchers are extremely young with the oldest being 16 I think.
