Got some video at a game a couple weeks ago and I noticed a couple things. First I noticed dd has developed a little toe tap with her left foot prior to pitch - I'm thinking this could easily get called ip, hasn't yet but should I nip it in the butt now? She's using it as a rhythm or timing mechanism. Second, after release on her drop/fastball she does a little hop forward after dragging - stays back on rise but is she leeching power with the hop or is it far enough after release? It's amazing what surfaces in a game compared to video of practice. Thanks.

Is this 12u? I love her arm circle. I don't see anything illegal with the feet, but she has a lot of power that can still be gained, from her leg drive.

I would nip the toe tap now, it is really hard to see but it looks like just as she come to the circle and gets set her toe comes off the rubber before she actually starts the pitching motion.

The little hop and slight lean forward it not big deal but as you point out it is not mechanically sound so should be addressed , think she is using it to feel like she is really getting that spin on the ball but of course like you sais the ball is gone and she got all the spin from release which has nothing to do with her little hop.

Finally...we are really in the weeds here I think because overall she has a lot of great things going on mechanically and you are really fine tuning

P.S. Amy is spot on it was the only other thing I was going to comment on, get a video from the side view to see how much push she is getting I would still say it is good just not great
