Interesting pitching drill I found while surfing youtube. I guess this drill is teaching you brush interference.

Wondering that myself.

Maybe its two-sided tape and you get feedback from the sound of the tape sticking/un-sticking to itself?

Maybe the tape creates friction against itself so the elbow/arm are impeded on the brush through.

Seems like an interesting idea.

I do something very similar in my 10U rec league clinics with 2" blue painters tape. . I run the tape up to their arm pit though. I want them to feel the whole arm coming into the body...We start every Saturday with tape and lock it in. I've had good results with this in terms of promoting the correct sequence with the younger gals...CP

With continued repetitions, they should be able to feel this with out the extra, if the elbow is tucked in and the forearm creates the whip, it's fairly automatic, Rick Pauly i believe has a video of it, straight forward, no additives on the site some where.
