Sometimes they are worth their weight in gold. I tried showing my DD how to throw a drop ball. Tried is key word. Pitching coach showed her and I love the break of the ball.
The coach stresses workouts between seeing him. Pitching 4 days a week is recommended. We practice Monday Wednesday and have games 3 times per week. The games are far fewer pitches than the practice.Pitching coaches are great, but it has been my experience that the amount of time and effort you and your DD put into working between pitching lessons is just as, if not more important.
I try to limit her exposure from the, "think they know it all but don't have a clue", type of personalities. It gets hard because some of them mix their lack of knowledge with their ability to speak…sounds good but still….uh,no.
LOL…if luck is what you call it.I didn't think you'd be able to find that many politicians around a softball field these days????? You must be really lucky!!!!
