Whoo hoo! We LOVE my dd's pitching coach! We found her by accident before I even knew what to look for, just luck of the draw. 
Sometimes they are worth their weight in gold. I tried showing my DD how to throw a drop ball. Tried is key word. Pitching coach showed her and I love the break of the ball.
Pitching coaches are great, but it has been my experience that the amount of time and effort you and your DD put into working between pitching lessons is just as, if not more important.
I found that my daughter listens to pretty much anyone else better than she listens me…with that being said, I try to limit her exposure from the, "think they know it all but don't have a clue", type of personalities. It gets hard because some of them mix their lack of knowledge with their ability to speak…sounds good but still….uh,no.

I didn't think you'd be able to find that many politicians around a softball field these days????? You must be really lucky!!!!
