My oldest DD... 15yr... 5'6''
Hitting 55 on Pocket Radar consistently for past year.
Would have loved to be there at the "Camp of ALL Camps" but like so many others couldn't make it:(.

Any help greatly appreciated on what she's missing.

Plateaus happen, especially once pitchers stop growing. Mechanics look pretty good. Is she doing any core or leg workouts?

Plays lots of school sports. Basketball, volleyball to keep fit when not able to get in workout. Does those (Example...21 day fitness) workouts with core and plyo when not playing.

To me it looks like she has very little to no brush interference, as well as lacking a little bend in the elbow coming down the backside. Also it looks like she needs to firm up her front side a bit more. Look at the model pitchers thread ....Amanda Sc is another good example....look at their body position with the firm front side and how their posture is in relation to your daughter. Rick's daughter Sarah Pauley is another great example as well. Just my 2 cents.

I can see what you mean with the arm now too. Looked at her videos over and over, missed that. Thanks

I saw a lot of them same things previously suggested.
No brush
Too much torso rotation, causes the hinge at the waist, and nullifies a lot of the front side resistance
Walks out of the pitch, not really sticking it, needs to keep her upper body behind the front leg, not on top of it.
No stability in the upper arm, from missing brush
Carries ball well past 6:00
Needs to unload and relax her arm and hand after release, this is energy spent wrong

Sorry if I seem brash, but these are easy fixes to finding that elusive 60 mph

DD's in the same boat. like being stuck in 2nd gear going 55.

Coach James et. al., has good points. for my DD, it's missing the Brush + whip and no Upper Arm stabilization.

Thanks James, these are the words we are needing to hear. With just me working with her she needs the critic. Gives us what we need to work on. Much appreciated you taking a look and giving an educated observation.

@ cardinal One thing I would look at is posture. I think it is part of the reason she is falling forward after pitch is that her center of balance is too far forward. She is not firming up front side so she instead of getting resistance she is pushing through past her center, I've take two stills Jennie and Amanda and compared to your daughter you can see at release your upper body should not be leaning forward. Part of this could be timing because she is hanging onto the ball too long but it is also a balance thing because the Jennie still is several frames after release (balls off screen) and she still never leans forward. If you are her "coach" I would use the Scarborough slo mo video and the Finch video pasted below just look at certain points for reference, toe touch, release, etc. It is amazing even with all the different style you see the top pitchers all at about the same synchronization between hand, arms, legs and feet.
