The question now, and with this being one of the major topics of discussion this post season, will this be called in the College World Series or will the Umpires look the other way?

the umpires would say, huh? what illegal pitch? with rose-colored glasses, florida will not be called. other teams, quite easy

I sure wish they would eliminate the leaping and crow-hopping rules. It would stop these 15 page arguments using super slow motion videos where the bio-engineers come out of the woodwork to give their opinions on whether or not a pitcher is bearing weight on their leg, when they have absolutely no clue. It's okay to use $350 juiced bats, step out of the box, wear an elbow guard and lean into a pitch....but heaven forbid that a pitcher might....MIGHT be bearing weight on her leg.

If the rules are good enough for the men, let the women play by them and move on.

really? so what about those pitchers that DO FOLLOW THE RULES?
bend the rules so those who don't follow them will become legal? NOT!

btw, you DON"T need slow-mo to see barnhill, carlson, silkwood pitch illegally, but not get called.
yet, prince, maddy moss and a few others GET called sooooooo easily for an IP.

At least the rubber is clear of dirt I guess. Not sure why it matters to the guy cleaning it... but hey.
