Was hoping SC would do well against Tennessee in the first conference game of the season. Certainly did not expect a 9 - 1 run rule and a 3 hitter from Jake. Got to say it was damn cold!!!

It was very warm here as I just finished watching the replay on ESPN. Jake kicked a^^!!! Great win and she looked very good. Hope you all thaw out soon!!!

Congrats to Jake for picking up a win against #7/#4 Auburn.

Rumor has it that Dad is recovering well, and should be ambulatory before the end of the week.

Jake came in for relief and closed all 3 games this weekend vs Georgia. Ended up with 3 decisions, 2 wins and 1 loss as the Gamecocks clinched a berth in the SEC Tournament. Threw a total of 9 innings with only 1 earned run against one of the best hitting teams in the country. The CU was as good as ever and she tied a personal best of 71mph with a few 70's. Has wins this season against Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia twice. She is going out on top of her game!
