Cool to see this on video. I need to cup my hand/wrist more to get it even flatter. Although I could feel brush going down to my wrist, I was doubting this until I saw the clip. Need to record myself more often! It really helps connect the dots with the cue and the reality of the visual. Bummed that the middle finger is blurred through release. I'll try much more light next time. We used DD's 6th Gen iPod for this and need to figure out how to choose a higher setting for capture (240p doesn't seem right....) Addt'l info: I'd guess I was at 50-55 feet and throwing 45-50 MPH.

On a bucket
Been trying to throw this pitch some in bp. I get a decent break on it, sometimes. Think my biggest problem is not getting enough of the spin from my wrist, I can feel it in my shoulder if I throw it too much. I'll mix it in with fastballs, most of the time it's a stinger off the end of the bat, and a dirty look coming my way

The Fastpitch TV show on the net had a story on Bill Hillhouse which IMO Bill gives some good advise, in part of the show he talks of practicing the spin with a ball when you are watching tv, traveling in the car or just relaxing, which IMO is great advise to get the hand and fingers to get the spin correct. He also talks of using the double ball which we use a lot, when practicing the curve and rise.

OH-IO
AWESOME !!! Thx Ken B.

Any chance of a "still pic" of how you are fingering the ball. You show me that, & we'll call this pitch "KenCurve". We call our other curve "BM's CorkScrew"
