I very much agree with Marc's comments above and I agree with how you are tackling the problem with your DD. On the one hand, not too much problem with slow pitchers in D1 so they won't too much care about her ability to hit slow pitchers. OTOH, if she struggles with the change that might be something else. Can you get us a clip up here.
