So my Kodak films 720p at a miserable 30fps. I need to get a new camera with a much better framerate. What are you guys using for filming your hitters and pitchers?

I've also been using Hypercam for my video capture/slomo software. It works ok for slowing down video for frame by frame, and works great for video capture of online video, but lacks in the tools department. What are some options that you have used and had good luck with?

For routine work, I find that 30fps is adequate. Prefer to analyze videos taken at 60fps. Feel anything above that results in additional pain during the analysis without any improvement in terms of additional knowledge. Analyzing 300fps & 600fps is a pain ... if my camera had those frame rates as an option I wouldn't use it.

My recommendation ... look for something that captures video at 60fps, and don't put a lot of value on cameras that capture video at higher rates.
