Mark is someone who studied hitting a great deal. He understood the activity for what it is … that being an activity that is misunderstood by many. He recognized that many people, with good intentions, would give hitting advice that didn’t have the positive impact that was intended. He wanted a filtering tool to assist with “filtering in” good information and “filtering out” bad information.
