She needs to screw the back hip/leg into the ground, loading against the rear leg and loading the rear leg. This should stabilize the rear leg/hip and help the upperbody not drift over and past the rear foot.

She is all back with no positive/weight shift forward. Missing a link in the chain.

Her posture isn't correct IMO, she just keeps the posture/upperbody position as she swings resulting in a lean back. It affects the back leg/hip from rotating properly.

Look at how much head movement and upper torso moves backwards as compared to Lindor. Hard for the scaps/upperbody to stretch against the thorax if it moves backwards as well.

Stride or no stride, Lindor has a positive move the girl doing a no stride does not. The actions should be the same regardless if you stride or not.

The OP's DD initiates the "launch" with her upper half (arms), while Lindor initiates his with his lower half (rear leg/hip). Therefore the young lady "pushes" her swing with her arms, while Lindor "pulls" his with his rear leg/hip. IMO naturally.

If she's going to do the drill again, have her think about "swinging with her rear hip" instead of her shoulders, arms, or even hands...."hips then hands" as it's been said in the past, and works pretty well.

Agree this is a upperbody swing, she seems to be saying what is this weird thing between my legs and arms? Oh it's my torso, perhaps I can use it better.

Don't forget about the front shoulder 'down and in'.

Absolutely, the front shoulder can move down and in better if the upper torso wasn't moving backwards as well. The front shoulder is a little high and the back shoulder drops a little to soon. The front shoulder starts little to high and the back shoulder is a little to low. Joey Myers would say she needs a downhill shoulder angle.
