Also alllllllllll back and allllllllll forward.
Swing should slot the elbow not the elbow slotting starting the swing.

Someone made a post recently that described a drill like this.

What we see here is what I imagined the result of the drill would be.

Are we sure this is a drill (ok all tee swings can be construed as drills but you get my point) ? If so
what drill are thinking of?

The swing made me think of the potential outcome of someone performing the drill described here ........

Put a ball on a high tee outside in the other batters box even with the batters front shoulder. When doing front toss or tee work tell her she needs to keep her head behind the ball on the tee. After each swing have her self evaluate. It’s just a visual aid out of the corner of the eye.

Also, when working tee have her consciously push back against a stiff front leg. In my observations most young players with the lunge problem have either a weak front side or their stance post stride is too narrow and they don’t ‘feel’ the balance they should in their foundation.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. Pattar asked the question I was going to ask, what drill. She hasn't been doing a drill, much of what she's doing has been "natural" at this point.

However, speaking of drills, does anyone have one that will help get her weight going forward without swinging onto her front foot? Any drills or help is appreciated.

Thanks again everyone, love this community.

Yes, it's called screwing the back leg/hip into the ground stabilizing the back hip to turn it into forward by coil. Right now she is just moving backwards, you want to move forwards while loading, forward by coil (screwing the back leg/hip into the ground).

Watch the side by side video. Lindor coils forward, your daughter just moves everything backwards.

Get her back foot straight, it looks a little “open”. A straight back foot helps promote the compressing action of the front hip against the rear hip. The back foot being slightly open in her stance prevents her from compressing around the back hip socket. When she performs her negative move, she should feel good tension in the back butt check. Also, I know it’s on a tee but posture isn’t good. Too much tilt in the torso. Keep chin over toes and get two eyes level on the pitcher

Here's a clip of a no stride with forward by coil. The back hip/leg is screwed into the ground creating a forward shift of the pelvis. The load extends the back knee and then it flexes again as he unloads.

I really like Pujols loading action. You can do a drill of preparing to swing, loading and getting on the front toe. So your preparing to swing, forward by coil and making sure the weight isn't to far forward.. So prepare to swing and then pause, don't drop the heel and then swing.
