My dd is 11 and has a lot of batting lessons and her form seems good. She has a lot of hard hits mostly grounder and low line drives. The problem a lot of time is she swings hard with power but it doesn't transfer to ball. Lots of hits seem weak with a lot of backspin. Not sure why she swings harder than the ball goes

Hard to say without a video. If she is hitting lots of grounders or low line drives, she might have some roll over with her wrists causing the bat to rise before contact with the ball. This would make contact with the upper part of the ball, knocking the ball on a more downward angle. I wouldn't expect backspin though if she is hitting grounders. Backspin is usually coming from hitting under the ball, but you might see back spin if she is chopping down on the ball. This could result in back spin and a downward or level ball departure angle. Take a video and post it and you can get a better answer.

Could this be caused by lunging? She used to drop her shoulders all the time so now she uses high hands in her stance. To me it looks like she lunges forward
