Nonsense, had to stop watching it.

You got me to go back and rewatch the video.

Think it would have made more sense if he included the importance of the stretch in the rear lower back. That said, with some understanding there were some valid points after the somewhat rough beginning.

What points do you disagree with?

He talked about that a bit in his twitter video from last night..e.g. he says once he creates the corner he stretches behind the corner using his lower back and upper back.

So what is the actual corner?

I assume it's formed by the body, but which parts form the corner?

The guy is hard to watch. Presentation is so rough. He needs a marketing person to help him polish up his act. Have a young stud do the swinging and he can do the talking. That being said, things I like:

Fused 2nd engine, rotational load(non slide) and flat wrist on bottom hand.

His whole hitting theory seems to be based on Barry Bonds swing IMO. I believe BB hit off his back foot. And had a "corner" around his rear hip socket. But many great hitters do not and are very successful. There are different ways to get it done. I like JD Martinez's swing. I like Mookie's and Altuve's swing. They are all different and all are good.

Not disagreeing with you per se, but TM has used Betts as an example of a hitter who does what he teaches. Betts does have a lot more momentum than Bonds but if you believe TM that forward momentum is just used to continue to acrue stretch (behind the corner) until it is time to launch. Haven't seen him mention JD or Altuve. I like Betts as well but I am a Sox fan so I am biased ;)

What he is showing there he calls getting your scap into your rear back pocket..e.g. the tilt move.

Hmmm ... sounds somewhat similar to this here .....

No scap demo.

I'm don't promote pinching the scap.

Very often, if you teach a hitter to "make orange", then they don't need such a focus.

Make orange???

Take a pretend can of 'red' paint and paint your hitters rear rhomboid 'red'.

Take another pretend can of 'yellow' paint and paint your hitter's rear lat 'yellow'.

Ask the hitter what happens when they mix 'red' and 'yellow'. Generally they say that they get 'orange'.

Tell your hitter to 'make orange' to start their swing.

Make orange.

Let's see if we can make this relatively simple.

First, let's focus on two muscle locations ... the "rear rhomboid" and "rear lat".

At swing initiation squeeze these two muscle areas .... Riigggghhhttttttt NOW!!!
