Nice clip of TTB or creating an arc through the entire swing as Mankin would say.

It may not be in the spirit of this thread, but could you expand that clip just a bit so we can see the action just prior to what we see here?

The hands turned the barrel? Really? At what point in the swing was that happening?

To me there is no 'turn', it is just a trebuchet style single plane swing. And on this swing i see everything triggering together in hopes of keeping the barrel on that single plane it was already aimed at. I dont think one thing can start alone in this swing else it would lose its power. I am just learning here, but my definition of 'turn the barrel' is when the bat changes direction from a tipped/snapped back to a forward horizontal swing plane. Turning to me is the intersection at up to out. Loop the barrel and turn the barrel are similar terms to me.

I like to think of “turning the barrel” as an effective leveling process of the bat head. I am sure you have seen hitters that drop the barrel then swim flat (dbsf) or the hitters that chop down on the ball. They don’t have an effective leveling process. Some people view TTB as the loading of the barrel. To each his own though and I believe you have a decent understanding of what ttb actually is and where it is during the swing. Which you figured out faster than most imo, it took me a good while to figure it out .
