Ok volleyball for the most part has ended and it’s time to work for spring. Not great but this is the second time she has swung in a couple months. She will be a second year 14’s but plays up a lot. She’s 5’10 and 215lbs, swinging a 34-26.3 oz Anderson and jugs machine is set at 55mph at 43 feet. Let me know as this is the time for things to work on. She has a very high average and hits bombs at the Varsity high school level.

IMO, it looks like she has the tendency to cast the barrel causing a long swing, like the hinge angle wants to increase early in the swing even though she is making contact way out front. I believe she swings around her body a little to much and the swing looks a little gated to me. To me it seems as if she is trying to launch the barrel in the direction of the catcher?? IMO her load could be better also, I believe if she could grasp the concept of the two engines working against each other it would help her out quiet a bit IMHO. All in all it isn't bad and I believe there is tremendous upside to her swing. I just think the cast or whatever it is, improper loading maybe, may start to hinder her as the pitching gets better.

Not here.
Maybe timing was off, maybe not. I'd work on barrel path. Needs to be down to the ball and up through the ball if you want your DD to continue to hit 'bombs'. Hit/swing behind and up through the ball. Also swing looks low effort or your DD is leaving some power on the table.

Besides being all back and all forward, not a bad swing all and all.

That's what I see. Pitching Machine set a little high. I would like to see if she can elevate a low pitch. My guess is she probably might struggle there and with her power she wants to launch all the pitches. This is what I believe rdbass was seeing when he referred to barrel path. Also appears that she intentionally extending (early) instead of letting extension happen.

Yeah, I see the 'sway' all back...and coil forward but, I didn't want to send the dad off on fixing something that won't matter.
Heading back to the cage tonight and will have her read these, thanks
This is a big strong hitter and these are her first swings in a couple of months.
The fix may be as simple as move up in the box. 55 may be to slow for this hitter and may change her swing completely with out any major mechanical changes.
Have your DD hit every pitch to the top of the cage/net.

"Have your DD hit every pitch to the top of the cage/net."

There you have it.^^^^^^^ Simple fix.

" I didn't want to send the dad off on fixing something that won't matter. "

This could also be true^^^^^^^ This big and strong hitter and does not need a perfect swing. No overhaul needed. Not that she shouldn't work on it but if the ball is going out on a regular basis.....There are plenty of MLB players that have had some funky swings you would never teach but they are playing at the highest level. Often raw talent overrides technique.
