"What I do is put an 8-ft net in the 2B and SS positions and work on hitting line-drives that just clear that net."

Same idea but I don't have to chase the balls as far.LOL

Please explain the different Vees and the lazy L. GIfs would be awesome.

please rdbass, master of all gifs, provide us gifs of wisdom from which we may obtain unsurpassable knowledge of the hi level swing. With explanations so clear we might dare to understand. By the way, I read the book I believe you recommended "The Talent Code". Very interesting. If fact it is probably time to reread it.

It wasn't me.

I’ll take a stab and say the “v” is more conducive to the forearm supporting the wrists as a pivot point, whereas the “L” may be more likely to promote a push pattern (when not done by a major leaguer).

Rdb ... I should have been more clear. The "lazy-L" versus "Power-Vee" that I was discussing was relative to the 'RVP Connection Point Position". I made an assumption 'that was understood' ... bad assumption on my part :).

When I get a moment I'll post a comparison.

When working on 'hand path' I like to give a few goals/objectives ... one of which is passing through an upright Vee orientation (rear arm) ... where the pass-through has various names such as the "RVP Connection Point Position", "Power-Vee Position", etc.

Below are a few examples of "where" there should be an attempt to have the "Power Vee" in the swing.

Regarding the "Power-Vee" .... ... ... we basically give ourselves a goal of arriving at 'launch' with a "comfortable rear forearm-to-bicep in a "Vee" orientation and maintaining this "Vee" relationship all the way to the "RVP Connection Point Position" ... which is the position when the hands pass by the rear shoulder ... and the "hands" + "rear elbow" + "rear shoulder" are all aligned with the "rear hip". See the "red Vee" highlighted in the clips below. The "Power-Vee" ties in directly with the HPP (Hand Pivot Point).
