Look closely ... and you'll see the distance between the elbows coming closer before an equidistant phase.
Here's a thesaurus reference for anybody else wondering.. https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/equidistant
equidistant ... as in an equal distance.
Folks use connection-like devices to promote the elbows remaining an equal distance apart for a segment of the swing ... but in reality the elbows first come closer together prior to maintaining an equal distance.

JK with you FFS.. But can you explain what you mean by this?
Thanks
My main computer with supporting video no longer works with the Internet ... otherwise I'd put up video showing what I am describing. Have a new computer ordered and should be back to normal in a week.
Understand the initial shortening of the distance between the elbows, when do you think the elbows come closer together- At contact? After contact? or never? It looks to me that the elbows start coming together with most hitters at contact or just after contact.
I know some people teach at contact. Some say stay separated but do not address the elbows coming together. You see practice swings where the hitter tries to stay apart the entire swing. Most game swings can't stay apart.
What do you teach?
