I had a big hitter that hit primarily with a overlapping golf-like grip.
On occasion I hit this way as well.
Haven't used it as a drill.

On occasion I hit this way as well.
Haven't used it as a drill.
Haven't posted in a while, but as a final awareness of lag, it is a combination of tension levels in the grip, wrists, and forearms, and the weight of the bat. IMOP

This would become a LOT more illustrative,
if in both examples the barrel path is intended to hit a pitch in the same location.
