Reminds me of my dd's lower half in regard to how much the rear leg skips forward and head doesn't remain level, starts low and than elevates as the back leg skips forward. Trying to take this out of her swing. Having a tough time with it

The hitter above is a young Harper. The 'fix' maybe to look at Harpers current swing or his progression of swings since then and how he has been trying to 'tone' down the momentum.

When does the scap bottom out? When in the swing does it lose contact?

I never talk about that so I am the wrong person to ask. I keep this stuff simple. At the same time I have a hitter pull the bow back, they are tipping and ripping. I am not asking the load and hold. In fact, I don't think that there is much a pause at all. Mann, I am not an expert. I see all of this stuff being posted but the more things change, the more they stay the same. This same stuff is what I coached long ago. The terminology has changed. I look at the stuff like sliding out of the phone booth, sit to hit, and can see those cues as I interpret them in most of the HL swings. Today, they are called other things.
