Shawn ... what is the source of this GIF? Did you create it?
The hips and back leg is loaded and then there is a little hand/barrel load. Regardless if what you think or don't think is loaded he is prepared to swing and holds the swing for a brief moment.
Yes I created the gif. The original clip was a smooth load and sped up swing. For some reason even after adjusting the frame rate the swing is still sped up.

The video came across to me as being doctored. Lots of extra frames in what you were referring to as the 'loading' and no extra frames afterwards.

Here's the video without the extra frames ....
I didn't even check for extra frames. I usually correct videos with extra frames.
