What do you mean by 'fairly' direct to the ball. Stan is turning the barrel to the ball with his hands. His hands are above the ball at contact. He does match the plane of the ball with a good barrel path. He does have a low 'finish'.
I mean his hands path is fairly direct, or level, or maintain the same height. They are fairly direct to the ball.
