Another poster mentioned that my DD was too much palm up. Does anybody know what he means and what are your thoughts on it?

Not sure but maybe it is related to her top hand grip. Seems to be deep in her palm instead of more toward the fingers. Deep in palm can restrict/interfere with both barrel speed and direction for some players.
Could be, I noticed that she seems to be holding it with a grip death as well,

LOL.. that's an entirely different problem. Of course if she's looking for money for a new bat, you are just as excited as she is.
Play around with some exaggerated grips. Yeah, right hand is way to strong. Her palm should face more away from her. This will allow her lead elbow to to move up (slightly)not down. Grip is very important. Play around with some different grips during tee work until you find the one she hits the ball hardest.

Thank you. Trying to picture "her palm should face more away from her" but I can't. We are working on working her elbow up more so she can get behind, through the ball more and extend better. Can you please explain, this could be important?
