I think you can learn the right mechanics from either the hands or the lower body stand point. Josh Donaldson says the same thing, he doesn't think about his hands . But you got guys like Trout , Miggy ,Albert saying they do use their hands. I just stated how I teach it . Don't know what your saying. Context would be nice . We already have one poster that just posts things and doesn't add context . Wanna add something? Or are you saying that is how you teach it? If so please explain.

Nope, not at all.. Just pointing out the importance of the core.. I want/teach free hands but want them to be synced with the core pulse at go time .. Hands need to be free to adjust for all pitches within the zone and not pulled back to a predefined pivot point and then snapped on a vertical swing plane. Free hands allows the swing plane to be vertical/horizontal or whatever the pitch calls for.

Bold above. I don't think that is what TM is saying.....
I believe/think TM is referring to the barrel turning with the hands right nowww.
I don't know any thing about that....Always thought he may be to truthful for most people/hitters/posters taste and that's what they seem to not like.
Some times you need the 'truth' to get better, no matter how much it hurts. Most can't handle that.....

FFS you have just pointed one of the many any times TM has contradicted himself.
This isn't TM but they work together. I know this guy and hes all in on TM. He has his own facility ( TM DOESNT ) so he will partner with TM from time to time.

TM camp is still trying to figure out if they want to pre set everything..Oh wait that changed to 80%. They are also still struggling MIGHTILY with the concept of coiling and uncoiling.
I can show you clip after clip of conflicting information straight out of the horses mouth! Then TM will get pretty butt hurt when its called out and claim hes so smart that no one can follow along....hahahahah
I have seen his teaching and YES he has great points, But honestly most is NOTHING I haven't already known for years. He didn't invent these things for the most part. The verbiage isn't all his either.
Fact is he learned from Olearly, Builder, DMAC, Donny and several others. AJ has made him a Twitter sensation! And of all people it could have happened to!
The guy is a horrible person. FACT!
