I like the body movements yes. To show around and out from... sure. But I don't teach it from a body standpoint . I use the hand path to dictate body movements.

I believe/think TM is referring to the barrel turning with the hands right nowww.
I don't know any thing about that....Always thought he may be to truthful for most people/hitters/posters taste and that's what they seem to not like.
Some times you need the 'truth' to get better, no matter how much it hurts. Most can't handle that.....
Fair enough but, not the best way to go about teaching hitting. Not saying your wrong but, I believe there's more to it then the body will just support the hands.

Yes. His terminology is not mine. I believe that when that part of the swing is right everything is easier.
His dishonesty is he is selling his model as what Barry, Albert, Miggy, Mike etc do. That is not the case. They are not a match. Someone please put up a GIF of AJ and Albert . They are not the same . That's my ONLY beef. Didn't AJ say rich had him look at swings from the greats and tell AJ this is what he teaches ?
Like I said if it works for you or anyone do it... but don't tell me the time with a quartz and say it's a Rolex.
Coil- resistance -balance - hand path - sequence is about all I teach .
I try to give them what they need and nothing more. Learn how to get to every pitch . Learn adjustability. Have a plan. I don't teach power . I teach to square up the ball . Power is relative to the player, approach and what role their coach wants them to play on the team.
Side note :
Had a student last year that hit 5hrs in first 6 games of the season. Her coach told her that if she doesn't hit HRS they don't score. So she tried to hit HRS the rest of the season and only got 1 more . Her average drop 70 points also . Approach is just as important as anything.

First part of the gif. Makes me think of swing 'around' your body. Turning the barrel beside the body. Second part of the gif to me I'm thinking 'out from' your body. Turn the barrel NOW.

To me this is more an example of a dynamic slack removal process ... and not a pre-set as shown in one of your prior TM examples.
