I personally use Tanner Tees and attempt to minimize tee work. I tend to minimize tee work. I'll use a tee as a warm-up prior to hitting off of a live arm. Will also use tee work to introduce concepts. Rarely will I spend an entire session hitting off of a tee.
Yes, I used tanner tees exclusively as well. Not really sure the need or added benefit of one with a swinging ball on it...but I've also not used one of those yet (besides the similar swinging Wiffle ball from a tree in my youth), so I might be missing something important, and why I asked the question.

Not here.
Just because you posted the link, and I know you have nothing to do with the tee...but do you (or anyone else) understand how a ball slowly swinging on a string, how, "This is replicating the timing of 90+ mph"? Cuz I sure as heck don't get it.

So if I swing twice as fast as it is in the clip (which wouldn't be that much faster, and what we used to do as kids messing around with a Wiffle ball tied to a tree limb in the park), would that be "....replicating the timing of 180+ mph"? I'm so confused.

I don't own the tee but, I did like how it is used. I never really liked a ball sitting on a tee because I feel it promotes a level swing. Not ideal for an upper cutting swing. I also think hitters take it as a bad thing if they hit the rubber ball holder. I built my own 'Tanner' tee knock off.
I don't get the speed/timing replicating aspect.r
I only posted this swinging tee because it was similar to the one the poster was inquiring about.

Please explain how this is what the greats do? I don't see any preset in any top players past and present.Even TMs model Barry had a hitch/slack. Not looking for an argument ... trying to learn.

Or is this a NEW way to get results? Has TM backed off trying to match the greats?

I'm just posting various tweets. Not all are TM(the one you are questioning obvious is). I'm not looking to discuss or defend any of my posts. If it helps someone great. If it doesn't then don't continue doing.
I'll stop posting tweeter post because everyone seems to focus on the TM tweeter post. Which wasn't my attention. I tried and it doesn't seem to be working the way I antedated.

Ok I 'cleaned' up....
Now, how do you know that NONE of the great past and preset didn't have any 'preset'.
So, we'll use Bonds...just because he had a 'hitch' he couldn't have been 'preset'.
Just quickly grabbed Pujols no 'preset....

Because I watch relaxed scaps , that get pushed/pinched/circled against a spine. I watch hands go up , back , down , up and back etc. That tells me they're hands get loaded and aren't pre loaded . I am of the belief that the hands get loaded . You don't load them. Explain what you cleaned up? There wasn't any mess ... or was there ??? What needed cleaning ?

Once again I'm not looking for an argument ...

I don't believe I heard TM say any thing about 'loading' the hands or mentioned the scap....I heard him say 'take the slack out'....pre-set of your hitting load.
I hear him talk of slack & stretch.

Neither am I.....Cleaned up...means I removed the gifs that seems to 'offend' people. I tired of defending gifs/tweets/post. I'll let posters go out and found them on their own.....
I don't care either....

I am not offended. I felt it was informative. I don't keep up with what TM says or does, so I felt it useful in that sense. I'm sure there were some that liked the info. I did. I just remember his old threads were all about matching . He has SEEMED to get away from that. I don't think his A number 1 student AJ matches Ted , Barry, Hank or Albert. jmho.

To me whatever gets you results is what you should do. I just have a problem with TM saying he has the high level pattern and he's selling it for XXX amount of dollars. When in reality his pattern doesn't match what the best did/do and he is claiming it does. That's what I have a problem with. If he claimed I have a better way to swing a bat and sold it as such. I wouldn't care less. But he's saying he can teach how Barry etc swings it. Just not true. That's the only thing that offends me. His dishonesty. Not your info , or that you use his approach. Hope I didn't offend you.

Since TM has his students, why not use the AJ, Happ, Kingery clips as examples for comparison sake to make it real ?
