Nope....I got no 'skin in the game'. I just like to poke you TM/Rich haters......I honestly could care less.

So, you're saying Judges swing doesn't 'flow'.
I guess we disagree.

I think that the question with Judge's swing as it relates to collegiate softball is if it is adjustable. After all, Judge, as I post this has 132 ks, and 97 hits. Naturally he has 25 home runs. Still, 132 Ks is a lot. I remember when TM was critical of hitters because they were not elite and struck out too much. Judge, while an All Star starter, is on course for 260+ ks.

Edited to add:

I went and looked at Barry Bond's Ks for his last year. He had 54 for the year. Barry Bonds was the "ideal" all of the hitting gurus tried to teach back in the day.

No way that swing would be successful against good pitching.

:rolleyes::p

Thread should have ended here! This is a great swing. Also rdbass I would disagree ("May be a bigger player can get away with this style of hitting.") and say that the TM/Barry Bonds swing is a swing that a bigger person can get away with. That most need to be two legged/shift to generate power.

Yeah. I always thought Bonds swing was a bit SPECIAL too. Lol.

I actually appreciate a guy like Hank and his big forward athletic move . That what you call true poetry in motion. JR had a waterfall flow to his swing as well.
