If you are trap dominate while swinging, do you think it will become a push swing? How do you teach to stay out of the trap while using your scap? IMO, changes your bat path big time.

All swings are push swings accept Judge, and Happ, because no other high level hitter initiates every swing with a vertical supinating snap of the forearm..

If this wasn't Bonds claims would be made that he's swinging around his body.

On an inside pitch what other barrel path would you have suggested/use.

Exactly, and is why Happ and others will struggle due to forcing a vertical swing plane for every pitch behind a made up corner. This is why the hands need to be free to find the optimal pivot point for different pitches.

What ever 'that' is......is a better barrel path then what Bonds used?
I just answered your question.. what other barrel path would a player use to get to that pitch?.. Which one is better, I could care less.

Trap, Scap, Snap- oh Crap!
I don't even begin to understand. But this I do know, to be objective about MLB swings it would be best to watch them hit off a tee or batting practice. In game situation will produce all kinds of adjustments to their optimal swing. That's why you can show the same player in one video illustrating your desired technique and another video illustrates an opposing technique.

Why do you guys use Bonds so much? He was a juiced up freak of nature. This a fastpitch forum. Young ladies are not going to swing like Bonds. How about using a Joey Votto,Nolan Arenado, Altuve type players (high average with some power) and great contact rate and discuss their very productive swings? How about looking at LA Angels SS Simmons' swing and discussing how the hell he does it? I don't like Bonds and I don't find his swing as applicable as others would be.
