Releasing the scap/shoulder to soon. To much external rotation, good catch by TM.

I'm sure TM would say 'no external rotating of the rear humerus'. Not to much external rotation. External rotation of the rear humerus is 'slop'/'slack' in the swing.

Gotcha.

Although doesn't Yeager base the entire back arm action as external rotation?

I don't listen to Yeager. JMHO. But, show me a successful hitter that external rotates his/her rear humerus.
I know that Harper did in the past but, has since changed....

Up and over not good....
The proper rear arm action in hitting, after the pull back loading, is adduction and supination.....NOT EXTERNAL ROTATION.
