1. Coil (butt cheek away from the plate) and scap load as you move forward. Fuse the entire
backside.
2. Put pressure into the handle to allow the elbows to work and get to a top hand palm up at
contact. While turning a fuse backside.
3. Front shoulder and front hip should work back.

Major points trying to teach DD. Thoughts

What would an unfused backside look like?

"Front shoulder and hip should work back"

This is true but can be overcoached (emphasized) resulting in weak spinning swing.

What portion of the body are you describing as a fused backside? What is being fused?

Unfused to me would be the scap and rear leg working independently. I agree with front shoulder and hip can be over coached. My DD stays behind the ball better when her front shoulder and hip work back instead of spinning off the ball.

Fused so they don't drag? I call it "hands get stuck"(golfing term) I see it a lot with smaller weaker girls.

Another question for everyone:

Does the scap fire ,unload, uncoil, unpinch? I think the answer is yes, but like to hear what others think.
