Good stuff. I find it interesting how the various 'gurus' interpret these things. If you just listen to Miggy's words and don't try to read to much into them, I think they make a lot of sense.

Notice Miggy’s demonstration of “palm-up” at the –2.13 mark. He starts from an “upright-vee” orientation, rear-arm only, and then extends to a palm-up orientation. Don’t tell SB :).

Check out the HR at the 2:09 mark. Look how much that ball fades. Wow, talk about inside part of the ball. This guy is the real machine.

Based on what Miggy is saying about not dumping the barrel too soon is one of the reasons I am not a big fan of some of the turn the barrel cues. IMO some of these cuse are misleading and easy to misinterpret, causing a kid to dump the barrel too soon where it's impossible to recover from. For example, somewhere in some thread on here somebody told me to have my DD use a long broom stick and have her turn the barrel so it hits the ground behind her. This just lead to a premature dumping of the barrel, extreme angle to recover from.

I understand your point but sometimes we have to go way over to another extreme to get the feel started and then, in the end, they wind up somewhere in the middle.
