Thoughts?

Personally i dont like to spin the shoulders like this

I want my hands torquing the bat first

This promotes shoulder turn first.

He says hands stay and dont go forward which i like. But i want to use my hands to turn the barrel before shoulder rotation.

To me shoulder rotation is bat drag

If the shoulders are turning...what are the hands doing?

They would be along for the ride.Shoulder dominated swing. Not what I would want. I want my arms/hands to be able to adjust to pitch location. He says it helps keep the top hand "in". Why not just teach them to keep the top hand in. Lol. Pretty simple fix.

I haven't seen much on their philosophies. But if that is a sample. Not what I'm looking for.

When I started looking for a set of mechanics way back when. I was looking for power, adjustability and it had to fall in line with the Hanson principle.

Now that I am more educated in the craft of hitting. Adjustability is my main concern along with the Hanson principle. I am now just looking for an increase in power relative to the hitter via good mechanics .

I've found if you make power your main concern , you are traveling down a bumpy, pothole filled road. Exactly what I see with that rebl rack. Jmho.

Does the front shoulder become moved during the swing?

Does the movement of the front shoulder result in a pulling on the handle?

Do you honestly want for the hands to 'torque' the bat handle before any contribution via the core that translates to a front-side pulling action?

Is this a quiz? I'll have a go.

Does the front shoulder become moved during the swing?

Yes. (If "become moved" means what i think it does)

Does the movement of the front shoulder result in a pulling on the handle?

No.

Hell no.

I like the Baseball Rebellion stuff. Looks like they have had great results with their hitters. They were on the cutting edge of the launch angle movement, and are smart enough to have evolved in the days since instead of insisting that they had everything figured out on Day One. I have thought about ordering the Rebel's Rack several times.

Now grade my paper and let me go back to the practical forum where I belong, lol.

Wrong they lagged behind forever but recently have shifted what they teach DRAMATICALLY! This bold comment is not true at all! But as you say ...good on them for realizing that they were teaching poorly before. But hey they still took your money!
