I agree, I see so many kids that do not finish or have a poor finish. The goal is to give the ball direction and to stay in contact with the ball for as long as possible.

I agree, I see so many kids that do not finish or have a poor finish. The goal is to give the ball direction and to stay in contact with the ball for as long as possible.
I see the finishing side....however i am just now teaching rotational to them. they have been taught linear arm swinging. with the bag it seems as if a light switch has went off. after the bag i will soft toss or let them hit the stick and make sure the are swinging right and following through. one of my problems i have had is letting them swing to make contact.. instead of making them swing right (rotational with correct hand path)...at this point i would rather them strike out swinging right than to hit a dinker....I am still learning, and this is a great site for that.
